Synopsis
Alexa, a christian turned atheist, journals her thoughts over a two-week period of living with her mother Mary-Marie and dying grandfather. Alexa has had a tumultuous relationship with her religious mother. In the days preceding her grandfathers death, she begins to experience a side to her mother she hasn’t seen before. For the first time in her adult life, she sees her mothers vulnerability and in turn it breathes intimacy into their relationship.
